2. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials, finishes, prices, and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Because many of our products are handcrafted, made-to-order, or made from natural materials, minor variations may occur between individual products. Variations in wood grain, colour, texture, finish, and other natural or handmade characteristics are not necessarily defects.

Colours may also appear somewhat different depending on lighting, photography, and the customer's screen or device.

Please review the product description, dimensions, options, and other applicable information before placing an order.

3. Prices and Taxes

Unless otherwise indicated, prices displayed on our website are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

Applicable taxes and any other charges will be displayed during checkout where required.

We may change product prices at any time before an order is placed.

If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error. If the error affects an order that has already been submitted, we will contact the customer before proceeding or cancel the affected order and issue an appropriate refund.

4. Placing an Order

Customers are responsible for reviewing their:

• Selected product

• Size and product options

• Personalization details

• Quantity

• Contact information

• Delivery or pickup information

• Order total

before completing checkout.

Customers are given an opportunity during checkout to review and correct their information before placing an order.

Submitting payment does not require Artful Wood Designs to fulfill an order where fulfillment is impossible because of an inventory error, obvious pricing error, unavailable materials, suspected fraud, or another legitimate reason.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the affected amount will be refunded.

5. Payment

Payment is required using one of the payment methods made available during checkout.

Payments are processed through Wix and/or the applicable payment provider.

An order may not proceed until required payment authorization has been received.

6. Custom and Personalized Products

Customers are responsible for providing accurate personalization information, including names, wording, spelling, dimensions, colours, or other requested specifications.

Please carefully review personalization details before submitting an order.

Where we provide a custom design proof or request approval before production, it is the customer's responsibility to carefully review the design and notify us of any requested corrections before approving it.

Once a customer approves a custom design and production begins, changes may not be possible and additional charges may apply for requested changes.

Custom and personalized products are generally final sale, except where the product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise eligible for a remedy under our Returns & Refunds Policy or applicable law.

7. Production Times

Many products are handcrafted, customized, or prepared after an order is placed.

Estimated preparation, delivery, and pickup times are provided in good faith but may vary for custom or personalized products, unusually large orders, material availability, weather, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer.

8. Delivery and Pickup

We currently offer:

• Free local delivery within 50 km of our Edmonton location, where available at checkout

• Free studio pickup in Edmonton

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

9. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Returns, exchanges, refunds, damaged products, incorrect products, and order cancellations are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Customers should review that policy before placing an order, particularly when ordering personalized or custom products.

10. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content appearing on this website—including Artful Wood Designs branding, original photographs, graphics, product presentations, website text, and original product designs—is owned by or used with permission by Artful Wood Designs.

Website content may not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold, or used commercially without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.

Purchase of a physical product does not transfer ownership of intellectual-property rights associated with the design.

11. Customer-Provided Content

When you provide names, wording, photographs, graphics, files, or other material for a custom product, you confirm that you have the right to provide and use that material for the requested purpose.

You remain responsible for customer-supplied content.

We may decline a custom request where we reasonably believe fulfilling it could violate applicable law or another person's rights.

12. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, conduct fraudulent transactions, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access or cancel transactions reasonably associated with fraud, misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website and online store available and accurate.
